Independent network diagnostics that show their work
Network Troubleshooting is a small, independent site that runs free online network diagnostics from real probes. It exists because most free tools don't tell you where the measurement came from or how it was made.
What the site is
Seven focused diagnostics: online ping, TCP port check, website speed test, traceroute, DNS lookup, IP address lookup and public IP detection. Every measurement is free, needs no account, and displays the actual probe location in the result.
The tools target one question at a time. No port scanning, no bulk lookups, no background jobs.
Who runs it
The site is built and maintained by an independent developer. It started from a personal need: a set of network diagnostics that show their work, with the source of every measurement visible instead of hidden.
There is no company behind it yet, no paid tier, and no data selling. If the service ever becomes commercial, the terms, privacy policy and this page will say so in plain language before anything changes.
How measurements work
Ping, port check, website speed, traceroute and DNS lookup run on Globalping probes; IP data comes from IPinfo; connection details come from Cloudflare, which also hosts the site. Each tool page and the methodology page describe exactly which source produced the result you see.
Privacy in practice
Complete results and visitor IP addresses are not intentionally stored by this application. Targets you test are sent to the measurement provider under its own policies, as the privacy page explains. The site does not serve ads or build advertising profiles; Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregated traffic and performance measurements.
