PRIVACY
Privacy policy
Effective August 1, 2026. The service works without accounts and without a server-side history of complete diagnostic results.
Who operates this service
Network Troubleshooting is independently operated by an individual developer based in the Central Region of Singapore. It is not presented as a company or incorporated entity. For personal safety and privacy, the operator's legal name and residential address are not published on this website. The operator remains responsible for the service and can be contacted through the public business contact below.
Data Protection Officer
The individual operator serves as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) for this service. Privacy enquiries, access or correction requests, and complaints can be sent to support@networktroubleshooting.net. This role-based address is the public business contact for data protection matters.
Information processed
We process the diagnostic target, selected tool and region, an anonymous signed rate-limit identifier, request security metadata and the connection information needed to return My IP results. This information is used to provide the requested diagnostic, prevent abuse, enforce fair-use limits and maintain service security.
Processing basis
Processing is limited to what is necessary to provide a diagnostic requested by the user and to the operator’s legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and reliable service operation. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular activity, that activity will not be introduced without an appropriate consent mechanism.
Third-party processors
Remote measurement targets and results are sent to Globalping and may be retained under Globalping’s policies. Public IP lookup requests are sent to IPinfo. Cloudflare processes traffic to deliver and protect the site, and Cloudflare Web Analytics collects aggregated page and performance measurements without being used for advertising profiles. These providers may process information outside Singapore under their own published terms and privacy policies.
Retention and local history
The most recent ten queries are stored only in your browser until you clear the history or site data. The signed rate-limit cookie expires after up to one year. Complete results are not intentionally persisted by this application. Minimal operational logs are retained only for the shortest period available under the configured Cloudflare logging policy and as needed for security and troubleshooting. Upstream providers apply their own retention policies.
Operational logs
Logs are limited to request IDs, tool names, selected regions, timing, status and error codes. Tokens, raw outputs, complete results and full targets must not be logged.
Your choices and rights
You can clear recent queries in the interface and remove the rate-limit cookie through browser site controls. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or an explanation of personal information processing by contacting support@networktroubleshooting.net. Because the service has no accounts and deliberately avoids a server-side result history, the operator may have little or no data that can be linked back to a requester.
Children
The service is a general-purpose technical tool and is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information about a child as a diagnostic target.
Privacy contact
Questions about this policy or data handling can be sent to support@networktroubleshooting.net. Abuse reports can be sent to abuse@networktroubleshooting.net.
